Circa 1985

Shoulder-length jacket in lamé polyester by Guy Laroche dating from the Disco years around 1985. Radiant lamé on a black background with a swirl pattern of red and gold streamers. Fitted jacket with a small turned-up officer's collar and puffed sleeves with small pleated shoulders. Gold lamé piping highlights the collar and front of the jacket, which is fastened with seven finely chased brass ball buttons. Black nylon lining and white label with black lettering indicating Boutique Guy Laroche, Paris, Made in France, size 46. A few very rare pulled threads but no visible wear or dirt. Little or no wear. Good overall condition.
Dimensions: Equivalent to size 42/44 France. Shoulders 40 cm, chest 96 cm, waist 86 cm, hips 99 cm, sleeves 64 cm, height 60 cm.
