About the Item

Jun Takahashi's collaboration with his friend and fellow artist, Cindy Sherman, has produced a series of evocative pieces of wearable art including this black leather motorcycle jacket printed with one of Sherman's portraits on the back. The jacket has all the bells and whistles of a classic biker jacket including a zippered front and pockets with adjustable buckles at the waist. It is emblazoned with 'Cindy' at the front and across the waistband at the back ... all reminiscent of 1950's Marlon Brando in The Wild One. The interior is lined and the back panel has a pleat up to the shoulder for ease of movement. Wear it with anything and everything to create a unique look. Original hang tag attached including a leather patch ... retailed at Jeffrey Atlanta for $1895 CONDITION The jacket was acquired from the wardrobe assets of the Fox Network show, 'Star' and was never worn. There is some wear across the neckline of the printed image as shown in photograph 12 which was caused by improper storage. A padded hanger should prevent further issues. SIZING MEASUREMENTS The hang tag is marked '1' for Small and the jacket best fits U.S. sizes 2 - 4 with attention to the following measurements taken with zipper closed. For visual reference, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4.
