About the Item
Rendered in the softest shade of cream and accented by trailing black floral appliqués, this original 1940's vintage jacket, is just the piece to add to your vintage collection.
The elegant rounded neckline, features a stylised mandarin design. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length sleeves. The tailored bodice of the jacket, draws in centrally with statement black buttons, which are framed either side by trailing floral appliqués, embellished with claw set rhinestones and white thread accents. The bust-line is set off by tailored darts, which accent the elegant curved hemline along the front of the jacket, which is finished with matching black fabric, joining the appliqués. This piece is un-lined.

Closures: 6 buttons and a concealed press stud
Condition: This jacket is in good but not perfect condition. There is a light and subtle age mark along the top of the right hand side shoulder. Two small pin sized age marks along the edges of the first button hole. A scattering of small pin sized age marks along the left hand side sleeve. A few very gentle age marks along the back of the left hand side shoulder line . Very subtle and light age mark along the back right hand side hemline. These minor details are not overly apparent when the jacket is being worn and only noticeable upon inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
