Slip dresses of the 1930s are highly collectable and this is a truly lovely example. They are prized for their wearability and the luxuriousness of the fabrics as well as the simple grace of their silhouettes. This slip is crafted from pale peachy pink silk and trimmed at the bust and around to the rear with coordinating tonal lace finished with faded blue/grey embroidery. The tiny scallop detailing along the bottom hem is a pretty addition to anyone who wants an easy lingerie style dress to wear under a more formal jacket or layered with crotchet pieces for a boho look. It has adjustable, slim spaghetti straps in peach silk. This slip is in excellent vintage condition, especially for a piece of its age with no issues. A best fit for up to a UK 8-10 or US 4-6.
