About the Item
Late 1930s or early 1940s pink satin slip dress with gathered puff shoulders and the armholes trimmed with an elaborate machine embroidered lace in an antique cream. The front of the dress has a cut out lace appliqué in a scrolling type floral design. The dress has belt loops that sit on the side of the dress and the belt ties are further to the front and pull in the dress at the waist. It's very long, reaching floor length on anybody who is 5 foot six and below.
The slip is in excellent vintage condition with no issues of any note; it is very well made although unlabelled. Will best fit a size UK 6-8 or US 2-4. Our model is a UK 6-8 and 5ft 4in. (163cm) and this dress was a great fit on her.
