About the Item
This elegant slip dress is cut from beautiful seafoam green silk and trimmed with pale off-white lace. Created by luxury lingerie label Jenny Dobell in the 1980s, it draws on classic 1920s’ silhouettes. The flared skirt kicks out as the wearer moves and delicate spaghetti straps support the lace-detailed, sweetheart neckline. A pretty, coordinating seafoam bow is placed in the middle of the chest and a panel of sheer lace encircles the waist. Modern equivalents are rarely made as well as this piece and as well as being night time attire, this stunning slip will make a wonderful layering piece or stand-alone dress if you dare. It is presented in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. Labelled a vintage UK 12, this equates to a US 6-8 and would fit a size or two smaller as well.
