Elegant evening tuxedo pyjamas, designed by Galeries Lafayette and made from artificial silk based on a design by Raoul Dufy dating from the 1930s-1940s. The design is Les Monnaies du Pape (The Pope's Coins), a famous design by Raoul Dufy, woven by Bianchini-Ferrier, a renowned manufacturer in Lyon. Here in a rayon lampas in pastel colours, orange, soft green and blue-grey on a brown background. Loose-fitting jacket with shawl collar in black satin with three pockets and cuff lapels. Matching belt. High-waisted trousers with buttoned fly and drawstring waist, finished with a black silk tassel (one tassel missing). Gold label indicating Galeries Lafayette Paris. Unlined. No visible flaws. Very good colour and condition.
Dimensions: Equivalent to men's size 54 France. Jacket: shoulders 45 cm, sleeves 58 cm, chest 100-110 cm, waist 90-100 cm. Trousers: height 102 cm, waist 85-95 cm.
