About the Item
This elegant 1960's nightdress, rendered in a circular Art Deco pattern in shades of arctic blue and cream, with cream lace finishings, is just the piece to welcome to your lingerie collection.
The V shaped neckline is edged with softly scalloped floral cream lace with delicate eye-lash details. The wide shoulder straps boast gathered pleats along the shoulder seams, decorated with pale blue ribbon bows. The rounded seam positioned beneath the bust and decorated with cream floral lace, gathers soft pleats that radiate along the base of the bust-line. The bias cut off the skirt-line skims along the silhouette, whilst the matching fabric belt draws the waistline in. Finished with a double tiered and pleated hemline, accented by scalloped cream floral lace details, every element of this night gown showcases the wonderful lingerie designs of the era.

Waist: from 28 inches up to 40 inches( this is cut on the bias )

Closures: Simple silk ties.
Condition: This nightdress is in near perfect vintage condition. A small age mark along the ribbon detail on the right hand side shoulder. Light and natural wear to the ribbon features along the shoulders. These minor issues are not apparent when the nightdress is being worn, and do not affect the overall quality of this piece. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment can be hand washed in cool water
