With over 50 years in fashion, Rhodes’s designs have graced many issues of Vogue magazine and have been famously worn by the likes of Princess Diana, Freddie Mercury, and Diana Ross. Her pieces are highly sought after and becoming harder to find, so it’s always exciting to get a new Zandra Rhodes piece in the shop! Produced by hand in the Zandra Rhodes studio, this gorgeous 1970’s jacket top is a perfect example of Rhodes’s inimitable style. The micro pleated top features an abstract design of squiggles, loops, and lines in tiffany blue, pink, and brown on a saturated red-orange ground. The top begins with a square neckline and ruffled angel sleeves framed by a fabulous sculpted ruffle trim that extends from shoulder to shoulder. The jacket has a relaxed fit and remains elegant throughout with side slits at the waist that allow for greater ease of movement.
