About the Item
An incredible piece from the man behind many iconic pop culture fashion moments, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. This button up dates to the 90s and it's from JCDC's first label, KO
CO. The playful print depicts celestial scenes of stars, moon, and sun as well as a woman riding an elephant, turtles, dogs, moles, hearts and more! The vivid color palette of cornflower blue, jade green, ochre yellow, white, and magenta draw you in. Whimsical quotes in French cursive roughly translate to "The moles fascinate me, they dig underground passages", "My dog, he is like me, he makes mischief", and finally another quote about the elephant along the green color blocks.
Hand painted 100% silk. Unlined, button up closure down the front, and double button cuffs. Excellent unworn condition with the original tags. A true collectors item.
Labelled a 2. Designed to be worn a bit loose, best fits a Men's Medium but would fit a Small-Large.
