Amazing and rare musuem piece! 1970s LOVE, MELODY blue jean denim studded long sleeve patchwork shirt! Melody Sabatasso was the brains behind the brand. She used old Levi's jeans as the fabric for her designs. She created the famous denim bikini in the 70s. She dressed celebrities and rockstars alike. Janis Joplin, Cher, and others were customers.
This particular piece features a variety of different colors of denim that were hand-sewn together. Small silver studs hand-sewn throughout. Buttons up the front and at each sleeve cuff. One larger rhinestone encrusted button at the asymmetrical neckline. Hidden pocket at each breast. Perfect for wear, or a collector / musuem. In great condition. Made in USA
