Stunning 1980s SWEE LO black and gold hand beaded silk chiffon long sleeve blouse! Wonderful tailored fit, with thousands of hand-sewn seed beads throughout. Neckline, sleeve cuffs, and waistband are all encrusted with goldseed beads. Semi sheer silk chiffon sleeves.
Madame Swee Lo pieces are hard to come by. She was a fashion designer, whom designed for "Gilligan's Island," amongst other Hollywood films in the 1960s and 1970s. In the 80s, she made a name for herself in the fashion world for her Sequined blouses. Her tops sold out the minute they hits the shelves at Saks, Neiman and Bergdorfs! This beauty is a prime example of this! Great belted or alone, with trousers or a skirt.
