About the Item
This charming original 1950s Mexican black cotton festival skirt with a vibrant circular multicoloured print in green, blue, fuchsia, and yellow tones is in superb vintage condition and is a wonderfully versatile piece. It features a deep forward facing pocket at the centre front which is embellished with infrequent coloured sequins and rocaille beads. The cut is a classic 1950s circle style giving this piece a voluminous, playful aesthetic. There is a central zip at the reverse with two buttons to secure. This wonderfully adaptable piece can be effortlessly transformed from day time to evening wear with the right accessories and the addition of a petticoat. Would best suit a US size 4, UK size 8 due to the petite waist measurement. Unlabelled but undoubtedly a Mexican artist piece.
