About the Item
This is an unusual take on the plaid pattern - the fabric is a quality manmade taffeta acetate and looks very much like silk. The colours are a very striking combination of pale pinks and oranges as well as deep copper and purple with a highly visual gold thread that highlights the famous lines of the pattern. The hem has a deep ruffle flounce and the skirt has a pleasing a-line look. The skirt fastens at the waistband with a button as well as a side zip. The design's unusual colour combination makes this a striking
contemporary looking piece.
This skirt is in lovely vintage condition. The fabric retains its crisp texture, is very clean and fresh looking and is nicely weighted towards the bottom of the hem. It will best fit a size UK 8, UK 4. Unlabelled but of good manufactured quality.
