About the Item
A gorgeous maxi skirt made of Sybil Connolly’s trademark Irish handkerchief linen in a labor intensive process of hand pleating yards of fine linen into a yard of fabric. Jackie Kennedy wore one her designs for her official White House portrait. This 1960s turquoise veering on teal maxi skirt consists of a front, back and two side panels with her signature horizontal pleating throughout. The seams are piped in matching silk. It has a 1" waistband, a side zipper and is lined in matching silk.
