About the Item

Rendered the most vibrant shade of Citrouille orange silk, this original 1970's Jean Halm skirt, is just the pop of colour your seasonal wardrobe needs. The simple waistband is accented by a side hook and eye and press stud, which sit above a plastic zip. The elegant line, boasts a fitted hipline, which is accented by the beginnings of the stitched knife pleats, which drape along the length of the skirt, completing this piece in an iconic 1970's silhouette. Label: Jean Halm Measurements of the Skirt Waist: up to 24 inches Hips: up to 36 inches Waist to Hem: 37.5 inches Size: UK 6 US 2 Closures:This skirt fastens with a hook and eye, a press stud and a 6.4 inch plastic zip. Condition: This skirt is in near perfect vintage condition with a few very light water marks to the silk, these are well concealed within the knife pleats and only apparent upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report. A favourite! This original 1950's tulle dress in the most breathtaking shade of coral tulle, embellished with trailing silk velvet and rayon corsage flowers, is a truly breathtaking piece to add to your vintage collection. The sweetheart neckline of the dress is framed by thin rayon shoulder straps, which are concealed by a stylised tulle shoulder wrap, which is sewn in along the front of the right hand shoulder strap, contouring the shoulder line and nape, to join the front of the left hand side shoulder strap with concealed press stud fastenings. The sweetheart neckline is accented by a curved border of corsage flowers along the right hand side, trailing diagonally along the bodice to join the side seam beneath the left hand side of the bust-line. The fitted and bone bodice boasts a rayon lining, upon which a layer of soft coral tulle pleats in a cross over design, finishing in a flutter of pleated tulle along the left hand side seam.
