About the Item
An incredible 1940s suit from Davidson's Madeleine label in a pale yellow and black fine wool small hounds tooth check pattern. The long sleeve single breasted jacket has a lapel collar, princess seams and elaborate pockets with self covered buttons and functional button holes matching the center front along their sides. In addition to the abundant front detail, the jacket back has zig zag waist seaming and a vent. Stunning! The midi length skirt has a waistband with a side button and metal zipper.
