About the Item
1940s off-white, brown, and rust plaid wool jacket and skirt suit. The Jacket of the suit features a modified notch collar, padded shoulders, two upper faux smile pockets, chocolate brown buttons, in-set button holes, fitted waist, and two lower functional smile buttons. The sleeves are finished with a rolled and winged cuff. The body of the jacket is fully lined with an apricot colored rayon crepe lining.
The unlined skirt has an applied and buttoned waist band, rear kick-pleat, and a side metal zippered closure.
