About the Item

This elegant 1970s two-piece ensemble comprises of a jumpsuit and coat with both pieces crafted from a luxurious cream wool blend with a textured, tonal weave. The coat is double-breasted and mid-length with a wide, curved collar. The silhouette is sleek A-line and finished with six beautiful gold-toned metal buttons detailed with faux mother-of-pearl. It has two large flap pockets at the hips. The coat is lined in smooth tonal satin for a comfortable, luxurious wear. The jumpsuit is cut to a sleeveless shape with a V-neckline and body-hugging form. The trousers hug the hips and then flare out lightly at the bottom. The waistband is composed of tonal cream crochet with no lining behind it, offering a peekaboo skin-flashing finish. The jumpsuit is unlined and fastens with a tonal zip at the back of the neck. These garments are in truly excellent vintage condition and look barely worn. Frustratingly, no labels remain in either piece but these are very high grade manufactured quality.
