Unlabelled Bar Haute Couture skirt suit in black and white mottled marbled printed silk faille dating from the New-Look years of Christian Dior. Jacket with three-quarter length sleeves, fitted with a rigid shape on the hips called hanchées! Black velvet collar and buttons, two slit side pockets. Lining in cream Duchesse satin. Straight skirt, side zip and box pleats in the back, cream grosgrain waistband. Closer to Jacques Fath's models. Some discrete yellowish stains that may need to be cleaned. However, silk faults and stable structure of the model without major defects. Good general condition of colour and conservation.
Dimensions: Equivalent size France 36. Jacket: shoulders 40 cm, sleeves 44 cm, chest 88 cm, waist 70 cm, hips 89 cm. Skirt: waist 60 cm, height 66 cm, hip 89 cm.
