About the Item
Spectacular two-piece dress and jacket set by Italian couture house Mingolini Gugenheim. Both pieces are meticulously hand beaded with tiny sparkling steel cut seed beads in shades of ink blue. The jacket is lined in mesh and features hand beaded fringe trim and short sleeves. It has single hook closure at the top front.
The dress is lined in navy silk and is all hand finished. It has a rear metal hidden zipper. When you get a glimpse of the inside of the lace, you realize how many hours of work this must have required. The weight of the set is shocking- heavy glass shimmering lace that doesn't look real in person.
Mingolini Gugenheim pieces are museum quality and are very hard to find. It is unlikely that we will ever come across anything like this again.
