ESCADA c.1990's MARGARETHA LEY Tweed Boucle Knit Multi-Color Jacket Suit Set Circa: 1990’s Label(s): Escada Margaretha Ley Designer: Margaretha Ley Style: Single breasted suit jacket with straight skirt Color(s): Shades of pink, orange, blue, yellow, gold and green Lined: Yes Marked Fabric Content: 53% Acrylic, 33% new wool, 14% nylon Unmarked Content (feel of): Metal- zipper and button closures Additional Details / Inclusions: Multi-color tweed knit single-breasted jacket closures center front. Velvet lining down center front jacket and entire edge fully bagged out lining in jacket. Nylon lining in skirt. Oval neckline set sleeves with one button at cuff of both sleeves. Fringe trim on center front, edge of sleeves, hem and pocket flaps. Two faux jetted pockets with button and buttonhole, not usable pockets. Skirt has hidden lapped side zipper on left side of skirt with button closure on exterior, one on interior. Lining in skirt has slit by zipper, is only attached at waistband. Skirt has 4 hanging loops on interior. Fringe trim at hem of skirt. Escada label taken out of jacket. Some faint thumbnail-sized discoloration spots on interior lining by left side hem; two faint discolored spots on back of skirt interior lining. (not visible when worn). Some loose threads on right sleeve of jacket, by buttonholes consistent with wear and storage (not noticeable except upon close inspection).
