About the Item

When Escada ruled Europe. Designed by Margaretha Ley. Purchased in Paris. Metallic (irridescent blue!) LEATHER. a tank dress that is as modern and sexy NOW as it was when it was designed. The dress has the iconic EE hardware (in titanium) on the straps. The dress has not been altered, It can easily have straps shortened on back if needed. Also, the ensemble was designed with a longer dress to appear under the jacket. it can be shortened to be the same length as the jacket if preffered. The Jacket is a work of art. The seaming. The keyhole buttonholes. The escada signature titanium buttons along the front! Shaped to perfection. A strong and very current shoulder in the jacket (super modern). The signature EE silk blue lining of he coat is so beautiful. This ensamble costs thousands when new and would be easily over $5,000 today. Escada designer collection runs very true to size. Both coat and dress are marked 38 which is a size 8 US, but could be worn by a woman who is size 6, easily. Modern. Chic Luxe. We can't say enough about this set. The blue metallic leather is delicious.
