JO NAPOT KIVANOK! Here I am offering a beautiful Hungarian hand-embroidered wedding skirt from the early 1950s. This original piece features a full, pleated skirt that is open at the front. Very clever, so you can vary the width of the skirt well. The magnificent hand-embroidered apron is tied over it. The joung Hungarian girls embroidered their wedding skirts long before this eventual celebration. It was a big event in every village! Each piece was unique and each village had specific patterns. Today I no longer wear these skirts to the wedding but change them in z. B. with boots and denim jacket or even with sneakers and turtleneck sweater! Measurement of the pleated shirt: Waistband 95 cm/37,5", waist width 5 cm, shirt length without waistband 95cm/37,5" of the apron, apron waistband 39cm/15,5", full length 92cm/36" Features - Original Hungarian wedding skirt consisting of skirt and apron -The size or width of the skirt is very variable, only the length cannot be changed - Skirt and apron sewn by hand and embroidered by hand - Both parts are permanently pleated, 1 cm deep pleats. - The material is cotton printed with flowers. - Skirt and apron are dry cleaned, please do not wash! - Both pieces are in very good condition, no beads are missing. - I will add a drawing for better understanding.
