About the Item
Circa 1980. France
Skirt suit and jacket by French designer Claude Montana. Label is white with Claude Montana Paris Made in Italy written in gold. Made of blue navy linen and white borders in cotton. 3/4 sleeves with wide shoulders finished by a veil of white cotton at the colar. Front closure with a snap button at the level of the waist. High waisted skirt cut at knee lenght that can be closed with snap buttons. Two mini pockets on the front of the jacket. Pockets on both sides of the skirt. Shoulder pads can be removed to modernise the cut. Lining is made of acetate and cupr yarn. Excellent condition and color.
Equivalent french size 38.
Claude Montana is a French designer who has known success in the 1980s thanks to his very fitted waist and wide shoulders designs emblematic of the period.
