Vintage Pauline Trigere suit in red plaid wool dated 1962. The swing-style jacket has dolman sleeves and a tie collar and tops a slim skirt. Underneath is a dark green knit surplice top, which matches the lining of the jacket. Taped label from Saks 5th Avenue inside with handwritten date of sale, "9/14/62". Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and great fabrics in this suit indicative of the work of this renowned designer. Approximate size 6-8.
