About the Item
Full of opulent original details, rendered in the most luxurious fashion, this rare 1920's ensemble is a beauty to behold.
The brightly coloured coral pink cotton base of the ensemble, is embellished in its entirety with undulating glass bugle beads, in shades of silver, black and gold.
The rounded neckline of the blouse, is embellished with a singular lined of gold coloured glass bugle beads and is framed by medium width shoulder straps, which accent the sleeveless cut. The straight cut of the bodice, sets off the asymmetrical hemline which joins in a triangular point along the front left hand side. The left hand side of the bodice is embellished with a bold abstract geometrical pattern, which joins the back of the blouse, and is edged with black glass bugle beads, framing the gold coloured glass bugle beads.
The matching cape, sits perfectly along the shoulder line in a near bateau cut design, and boasts a concealed slit along the right hand side shoulder line. The elegant drape of the cape, is accented by a triangular pointed design hemline, which draws the eye to the matching abstract geometrical design of the beadwork, matching those along the blouse.
This ensemble is rendered in a fine cotton and has a light element of sheerness to it.

Condition: This ensemble is in perfect vintage condition, with very gentle beadwork loss. this is not apparent when the set is being worn and only noticeable upon very close inspection.
