About the Item

Rendered in the brightest shade of Sicilian yellow and accented by turquoise, orange and gold beadwork, with green, turquoise, gold and orange raffia embroidery, this truly wonderful 1960's tunic and trouser set, is the perfect set to add to your wardrobe. The rounded neckline of the tunic draws in centrally with matching yellow covered button and loop fastenings, which draw the neckline in and created a detailed central split along the front of the bodice. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves. The A line cut of the tunic, features an eye-catching and embellished hemline, which boasts beaded and embroidered details in turquoise, orange, gold and green, in a geometric pattern. The matching trousers sit perfectly beneath the tunic and boast a fitted waistline with a central hook and eye fastening and zip. The high rise and flared cut of the trousers, complete this ensemble in a truly iconic 1960's silhouette. The trousers fasten along the front with a hook and eye and a 6.5 inch metal zip. Condition: Condition of the Tunic: This Tunic is in fair vintage condition. Age marks are scattered throughout the bodice . Age marks apparent along both sleeves, some of these are dark and very noticeable. A few lighter age marks scattered along the back of the bodice. Condition of the Trousers: The trousers are in fair condition, with noticeable age marks scattered throughout. Light thread lifting to the moss crepe. This set is in fair vintage condition but is too fabulous to leave behind. Although the age marks are apparent, we feel like the right home may be found for this piece. This set has been priced accordingly. Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned but can be delicately hand washed Fabric: Moss Crepe, Nylon Lined, Raffia Embroidery, Plastic Beadwork, Gold beadwork.
