About the Item
This elegant knit was designed by uber lux Italian fashion label Ermanno Scervino and is a perfect layering jumper. Woven from a luxurious blend of alpaca, wool and mohair - with a hint of stretch - it is super-soft, fluffy and has a relaxed, gaping weave. Varying tones of blue, grey, white and black thread result in a soft grey-blue colour overall. The neckline is adorned with hand embellished crystals that form a necklace-like detail around the collar; sapphire-blue flowers are surrounded by pale-blue teardrop shaped crystals, square cobalt crystals and circular rhinestones. Further crystals are dotted across the knit, cascading down the bust and catching the light as they fall. The looseness of the weave and the resultant holes in the knit create a peekaboo effect that hints at whatever the wearer wears underneath. This jumper is unlined.
Very similar styles walked the runway for Scervino's Fall 2020 presentation and we have attached an example here as we are attributing the jumper to this collection. In excellent condition with no flaws of any note and looks barely worn. The wool fabric is composed of 40% Alpaca, 23% Polyamide, 20% Mohair, 17% Wool. Labelled an Italian size 38, UK 6 or US 2, it is fairly oversized and will work for a few sizes larger too as the fabric has some stretch on the below measurements.
