Circa 1980-1990

Original stretch evening jumper by Loris Azzaro (attributed to) dating from the 1980s. Tight jumper with boat neckline and long sleeves in apple green mottled wool knit and silver lurex. White plastic pear-shaped pastilles are applied and sewn randomly throughout the jumper (probably a few pastilles missing). The cuffs and bottom of the jumper are fringed with long two-tone green and silver beaded chains, typical of Loris Azzaro's work. This jumper has no Loris Azzaro label (which is relatively common) but there is no problem attributing it to the designer, as Loris Azzaro was the only one to use this type of chain. Apart from a very slight linting of the wool in areas of rubbing and a few missing pearls, this jumper is clean with no holes or stains. Good overall condition in terms of colour and conservation.
Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 35-36. Height 61 cm plus 10 cm fringes, shoulders 39 cm, chest 84-88 cm, waist 58-62 cm, sleeves 61 cm plus 10 cm fringes.
