The floral embroidery was taken from a 19th century Chinese shawl and hand applied to the sweater to create a striking design. The flowers cascade over the right shoulder and are in full bloom on the back. Each cuff is appliqued with a flower as well. This stunning sweater from the 1950's is in excellent condition.
