About the Item
This Mid-Century Modern designed cashmere cardigan is a rare example of the design style being used for clothing. The two pocket, six button cardigan starts as cream cashmere at the neckline and gradually changes to pale green and then a darker green for the right side and the sleeve. The left side changes to an almost imperceptible shade of pale green, above the same shade of green seen on the right. The back of the sweater has a darker shade of green cascading from the shoulder seam down to the hem and right side. Eight shades of green, almost like a color chart, fill in the remainder of the back in a pattern that reminds me of a pinwheel, curving up to the neckline and the right shoulder. This ultra soft cashmere sweater is in excellent condition and marked a vintage size 38. Please check the measurements.
