About the Item
This is a terrific original 1960s three-piece swimsuit set comprising a sheer coverup, bikini top and bottom all in a matching orange and pink floral design. The coverup is made of a sheer manmade fabric while the bikini set is cotton with a white cotton lining. Labelled "A Sportaville Model", "tailored in London" this is a classic piece of 60s sportswear. The coverup is collarless with a single button at the neckline. The bikini top fastens at the back with 2 hook and eyes at different places to adjust to the wearers bust and it has reinforced cups. The bikini bottoms have an elasticated waist and knicker line.
Condition wise this is in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear. The set is labelled as a vintage UK 12 but in modern terms we could suggest this more suited to a UK 6, US 2.
