Ladies' swimming costume dating from the French Belle Epoque seaside tourism period. Royal blue woollen knit and cotton knit printed with sky-blue and blue chequered patterns. Sleeveless one-piece swimming costume with boat neckline and mini-skirt gathered at the hips, concealing integrated panties. Buttoned shoulder straps with four pearly buttons. Charming blue stitched wool felt appliqué. Label indicating Au Louvre Paris, ladies hosiery, special manufacture, size 46 France. Several tiny moth holes in the royal blue wool, but stable condition, can be displayed as is as it is very discreet. No stains. Fair condition. A piece for collector
