About the Item

From Dior Maison’s 1970s–1980s design philosophy, Christian Dior vintage stainless steel set of 2 flutes, each flute is engraved with the “Christian Dior” signature on the base, confirming its authenticity and heritage. Originally created for luxury entertaining, Dior’s stainless steel barware was favored by collectors, high-end hotels, and private yachts of the time. Authentic Christian Dior Maison design (circa 1975–1985) Made from mirror-finish stainless steel — elegant and durable Engraved logo: “Christian Dior” on base Minimalist modernist lines — a hallmark of 1970s French design Ideal for champagne, prosecco, or display Sold as a set of two flutes CURATOR'S NOTE: Dior Maison introduced stainless steel barware during the 1970s, aligning with the modernist luxury movement led by French and Italian designers. Each piece was crafted to embody refinement, balance, and longevity — a rare harmony of couture spirit and industrial precision. From the 1970s onward, Dior — like Hermès and Christofle — introduced modern materials such as polished stainless steel, chrome-plated brass, and satin-finished silver into their tableware designs. The aesthetic of that era was inspired by French and Italian modernism, featuring clean lines and reflective surfaces. Dior released several barware collections: flutes, champagne buckets, carafes, and trays, often with a mirror-polished steel finish and an engraved “Christian Dior” logo on the base. These items were sold in Dior boutiques or given as corporate or diplomatic gifts of high prestige. The full “Christian Dior” engraving (rather than just “Dior”) is typical of 1970s–1980s production, when the Maison sought to preserve a tone of classic elegance even in industrial materials. Care Instructions: Hand wash only. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth to maintain the high polish finish. Dimensions: Height: 21 cm Capacity: ~150 ml per flute Condition Details: 1975-1985, vintage, with some marks on base and overall, images true to condition, 7.5/10
