Rare 1940s Hattie Carnegie by Lenox Porcelain Powder Box and Lotion Decanter Set
An exceptionally rare vanity set designed for Hattie Carnegie by Lenox, dating to the late 1940s. This elegant porcelain powder box and lotion decanter duo perfectly captures the glamour of mid-century beauty culture and the refined aesthetic of two legendary American luxury houses.
Each piece is finely crafted in porcelain with raised “HATTIE CARNEGIE” lettering and figural tops that lend sculptural charm. The round powder box includes a fitted lid, while the cylindrical lotion decanter features its original stopper top. Both pieces are stamped LENOX, with one additionally marked “LAIT DE BEAUTE LENOX USA DISTRIBUTED BY HATTIE CARNEGIE NEW YORK.”
Beautifully preserved for its age, the set shows only light surface marks and gentle rubbing to the bases consistent with careful prior use. A true collectible for fans of vintage cosmetics, mid-century design, or the glamorous world of Hattie Carnegie.
