About the Item
Exquisite and one of a kind antique extendable mechanical pencil or push-pull pencil by A.W. Faber, late 19th or early 20th century. "A.W. FABER PARIS" and "G" are engraved on the instrument, which is presented in its original red velvet-lined case.
Technical Data
Brand: A.W. Faber, predecessor of the current Faber-Castell, a company founded in Germany in 1761. The inscription "PARIS" indicates that it was acquired in this city.
Material: Solid gold.
Measurement: 7.5 cm long x 0.5 cm wide
Mechanism: Works by means of a telescopic or twist mechanism to extend and retract the lead. It can be worn over the shoulder.
Case: The original red velvet-lined case adds value as a collector's item.
