Exquisite and highly refined French gilt silver jewelry box, 19th century, Napoleon III, in gilt silver or vermeil.
Rectangular profile with rounded edges and top closure.
With chased and engraved gilt silver decoration in relief on the lid, floral ornamentation, scrolls, and volutes.
In very good condition for its age and use.
Interior lined in purple velvet with a small pocket or separate compartment.
Guilloche-finished back.
