Fun and fabulous 1970’s Mary McFadden black romper jumpsuit with exotic braided belt. The jumpsuit zips at the front to the waist and has a collarless plunging neckline with hidden hooks, if modesty is required. The design is executed in McFadden’s signature micro pleated fabric similar to Mario Fortuny’s creations. The legs are bubble style and give the hint of a harem pant. The skinny sleeves are almost a mutton style with a slight puff at the shoulder. The former owner added the braided belt which adds a touch of rich burgundy red color and antiqued metallic shine but there are so many ways to style this design including a different belt or forgo something at the waist for a dramatic collar necklace.
