Nina Ricci Passementerie Bag from the 1980s in metallic silver with signature golden Nina Ricci bow shaped closure. Passementerie, a technique very known for it’s use in Yves Saint Laurent designs, is also a Nina Ricci favorite. The bag can be worn on one shoulder or crossbody. It is a chique, flat bag that is also very suited for evening attire. BRAND DESCRIPTION Nina Ricci was founded by Italian Maria Nielli in 1932 in Paris. After the retirement of Nielli in 1950, Jules Francois Crahay designed the collections until 1963 when he left to join Lanvin. Gerard Pipart reigned the house until the sale of the company in 1998. The bag you’re looking at is a Pipart design.
