About the Item
Art Deco Sapphire and Ruby Set Micro Bead Bag from the 1940's set in sterling silver. Dozens of hand set rubies and sapphires are set in an openwork floral pattern. Plunger stone appears to be a green tourmaline. Open work back is elaborately hand etched silver.
Exquisite craftsmanship with the frame, hand made in Italy with the micro glass bead hand base made in France. White silk satin lining with gold lame trim. 5.5" x 7" wide x 1.5". 1940's Europe.
