About the Item
This delicate vintage 1930's black silk velvet evening bag, with silver rhinestone accents and black silk details, is the perfect accessory for any vintage lover.
The elegant silk velvet wristlet handle, joins the top of the bag beneath a circular rhinestone feature. The envelope styled top of the bag, is accented by a rounded silk velvet panel, edged with matching silver rhinestones, which are in turn framed by a simple black silk border. The beautiful rounded shape of the bag, showcases intricate gathered pleats along the base of the rounded clasp area, which radiate along the front and reverse of the bag. The bag opens with a press stud fastening to a black rayon lining, with a large central compartment and a small side pocket, which houses the original pocket sized mirror.
