About the Item

This is a vintage Italian handbag that exudes classic elegance with a bold, sculptural twist. The handbag is made of smooth black leather with a slightly glossy finish, shaped into a structured, semi-dome silhouette that’s both minimalist and timeless. A standout feature is the arched black lacquered bamboo handle. This adds a distinctive and slightly exotic flair, reminiscent of vintage Italian luxury design, particularly in the mid-century modern era. The bag is equipped with silver-tone metal hardware, including a central clasp closure at the top. The handle is attached with matching silver brackets, which enhance its refined, polished look. The structured form is in line with 1950s–1960s Italian aesthetic, known for its craftsmanship and refined, yet daring accessories. This handbag is likely intended for evening or formal day use, offering just enough room for essentials like lipstick, keys, and a compact wallet. This piece would be perfect paired with vintage dresses or even modern minimalist outfits for a touch of retro glamour. It's in lovely vintage condition.
