About the Item
Custom Evening Bag made in the 1940's with a bakelite frame, adorned with a lovely Art Deco diamond basket on a French lame broche base.
The tortoise bakelite frame has a black bakelite panel insert decorated with an Art Deco diamond basket motif. This was obviously a custom order in the period and is in excellent condition. 1940's USA.
Measures: 8" x 8" x 3" depth. Handle adds 6".
