About the Item

Beautiful black beaded handbag featuring floral tapestry embroidery, and gold plated fittings. Measuring length at the base 22 cm / 8.6 inches by width 10 cm / 3.9 inches, and depth 4 cm / 1.5 inches. The handle drop is 13 cm / 5.1 inches. The bag closes with a scalloped edged hinged closure. Inside there is a black satin lining with a pocket. The bag is in very good condition. There are three loose beads, and possibly a very few missing beads. This is a really lovely bag circa 1950s. Made in Hong Kong.
