About the Item
Exceptional and collectible Micro Beaded Bag from the early 20th Century with hand beaded and braided handle with tassels. Pictorial micro beading creates a vignette with sailing ships in a distant ocean scene. Daisies are falling down around the edge of the "window" view. Both the front and back are beaded in the same pattern and all this is set into an hand engraved sterling frame. Quality is exceptional.
Elaborate Micro beaded handle and tassels and fringes in 2 tones of matching beads.
Lined in ivory silk with original eiderdown puff and mirror which fit into appropriate pockets. An charming original added hand written note from 1930 is included. Lining clean, appears unused.
One of the finest beaded bags we have ever handled.
