About the Item
1950’s Fernande DesGranges Depose, Paris rare dark, chocolate brown leather pocket watch style handbag, this bag is so unique. Fernande DesGranges had exclusive shops in Europe, Paris, Geneva, Vichy, Nice. Dark chocolate brown leather with gold hardware and a watch that fits into a custom made pocket on the bag front, attached with a gold chain, the watch is marked with a gold crown at the face top and marked, Made in France at the bottom. The back of the watch is etched with flowers. Hand wind, the watch is not working. The bag is lined in soft black leather, it has a push button clasp at the top, the interior has a zippered pocket and a snap compartment. The gold brass hardware has wear on the button top and bar feet
light scratching on other areas of brass. The brass was originally sealed it could be professionally polished. The handle is strong with no wear issues.
Similar to the Lederer watch handbag from the same time period.
