Lovely embroidered french purse with 18th Century scenes. Lavishly silk stitch embroidered and beautifully detailed. Clasp and hilt are gilded sterling with elaborate etch work. Even the handles, base and body of the bag are embroidered in silk floss. Exquisite craftsmanship, with artist signature in embroidery. Satin lined. 1950's France. Excellent condition.
