Preowned, vintage Bonnie Cashin for Coach kiss lock tote bag, likely made in the 1960s. Made from black leather, it features a kiss lock coin purse in front, and an open main compartment that's lined in Bonnie's signature striped fabric with one small zip pocket inside. A wonderful and collectible tote bag that's so hard to find nowadays! Made in the USA. Stamped COACH on a metal tag (pre creed/pre style number). Approximate measurements: 12.5in H (not including handles) x 8.25in L x 3.5in D with a 8.25in strap drop. Preowned/vintage with signs of age, prior use and wear: the exterior leather is in good shape with some scratching and rubs, as you would expect from a 50+ year old handbag. There are several after-market repairs to the sides and handles, which don't affect the bag usage but are noticeable when inspecting closely: - the stitching on two ends of the handle straps have been mended and there's a small tear repaired (see photo 11, circled areas). - two bag sides have been repaired (see photo 12). - interior lining shows some spots and wear, most obvious to the kiss lock coin purse section (photo 10) - the gold hardware on the kiss lock shows some scratching and loss (photo 13).
