Pair of Mid Century colourful views of Venetian piazzas, watercolour and gouache on craft paper mounted on paper by Pierre Pruvost. The paintings are signed bottom right/left and titled.

Pruvost was a talented colourist, inspired by both the Fauvists and the Impressionists his work is close to that of his friend François DESNOYER. He settled in Antibes, where he established himself as a major artist of the city. He was extensively exhibited in his lifetime and his works are held in collections worldwide.
